We love hiking on the Maryland side of Great Falls National Park, camping and seeing the ponies at Assateague State Park, and swimming at Cunningham Falls State Park. There is plenty of culture to be found in Maryland too. From Broadway shows to children's theater to musical performances your choices are endless. Consider the Hippodrome at the France-Merrick Performing Arts Center in Baltimore for a night out as a couple or with the whole family, Imagination Stage in Bethesda is a local theater that offers a variety of shows for the entire family, and the Maryland Hall For The Performing Arts never fails to amaze us with their performances.

Did you know that Maryland has over 3000 miles of shoreline? That's right. If you love spending a day by the water, you are sure to find a place that fits your personality. While Ocean City is our most well-known beach, there are so many to choose from. You can spend your day on the bay, by the riverside, or enjoy a day on Deep Creek. You can't go wrong, no matter what you choose.

Just because you aren't traveling this year, doesn't mean you can't find a great place to stay. Maryland has a number of charming bed and breakfasts, perfect for a romantic getaway.
